In a word to those who mourn the tragedy at the Tree of Life Synagogue, the word ‘shalom’ is rich with meaning. “Hello” to those who join them; “goodbye” to those who have been taken; and “peace” as the way to a brighter future and a “wholeness” of spirit and purpose.
