… I believe that whether we realize it or not, none of us has been left untouched by the hate crimes and mass shootings that pervade today’s society. These acts have hit closer to home to some than others, but we have all been impacted in some way, and we each contribute in some way to the direction in which the web will next ripple. The mantra “Peace Begins with Me” reminds me of the responsibility and the power I have to ensure that the choices I make on a daily basis contribute to a more peaceful world.
